What would be the best way to tag what kind of models the shop sells? Many sell only aircraft/railways/etc.

Would model=aircraft be sensible? This would lead to multiple values for shops selling various types of models. Would model:aircraft=yes be better? --Daveemtb (talk) 07:20, 24 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

I like model=aircraft. model:aircraft=* seems a bit pointless because there are not really any useful values to put behind that other than `yes` or `no` --Taktaal (talk) 02:11, 22 December 2019 (UTC)Reply
Note that model=* is also used for manufactured items' model identifiers. If not namespaced, auxiliary tags for this shop type would make it a homonym. Which isn't necessarily a showstopper, but is something to be aware of. Arlo James Barnes (talk) 14:08, 25 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
