Anyone know what the deal with this tag is?

Anyone know what the deal with this tag is? The description is way to long winded for me to extrapolate out how the tag is suppose to be used. I assume it's for lawn care equipment like lawnmowers and similar, but then there's already shop=garden_centre. Say that isn't workable for some off chance reason, shop=garden_machinery is already used 4 times as much as this, but it's apparently listed as a possible synonym. So what exactly is the point in this tag that isn't already being served better by say shop=garden_centre or shop=garden_machinery? --Adamant1 (talk) 00:09, 14 January 2023 (UTC)

shop=garden_centre not necessarily sells machinery. Something B (talk) 14:51, 7 May 2023 (UTC)
