Usage

Term translations for the WIkiProject Uganda homepage, the WikiProject Uganda and regularly used terms on WikiProject Uganda pages. This is derived and an extension of the PlaceLang template with additions for specific and local languages used in Uganda (Error creating thumbnail: Languages of Uganda - Error creating thumbnail: Orodha ya lugha za Uganda):

• Swahili or Kiswahili with langcode sw, official language spoken by many and defacto language used in the East-African Community (Error creating thumbnail: Swahili language - Error creating thumbnail: Kiswahili);

In addition, there are many more local languages spoken in Uganda. Without intention to discriminate (you are absolutely free to add more) we can list the following:

Template Parameters

Should be used in the format: {{Uganda/PlaceLang|term to be translated|lang={{{lang|en}}}|optional additional named parameters}}
where:

• Uganda/PlaceLang: is the 1st parameter, refers to this template;
• term to be translated: is the 2nd parameter, actual text or alias of the text (as used in the template) to be translated;
• lang=en: is the target language as a named parameter represented with it's language code, in this case transcluded from the origin page;
• optional additional named parameters: additional named parameters as defined in the orginal PlaceLang. See table below.
