Adding sites for all remaining countries

Thanks to Geofabrik, there are now Taginfo instances for every country, which is a big step up from the two dozen we have so far. The URLs use continent and country name, though (e.g. https://taginfo.geofabrik.de/europe/austria), rather than the country code. It would be a lot of sites to add manually ... any ideas? --Tordanik 19:56, 28 January 2021 (UTC)

In this table https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Template:TaginfoLinksPerLanguage/doc/table we can find which country will be displayed for each language. So first off, we should add all remaining languages to this Template https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Template:DescriptionLinks&action=edit. Once done, add every single country as records in https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/w/index.php?title=Template:TaginfoLinks&action=edit. Perhaps, that could be somewhat overkill for those languages with multiple countries --Hugoren Martinako (talk) 21:20, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
We don't have to add every country because not every country has any contributors. On Wiki there are only about 10 active languages. I added some missing countries for active languages, see for example a page with DE: prefix. maro21 19:19, 27 April 2021 (UTC)
