Touch Mapper lets you create a 3D printed maps e.g. a tactile map for the blind, based on OpenStreetMap data.
The website tool allows you to pick any neighbourhood throughout the world and generate a 3D model. This is previewed on the site, and can then be either downloaded for printing on a local 3D printer, or ordered as a product to be printed and delivered for a fee. The maps include roads, buildings, railways, and water areas.
Touch mapper is developed by Samuli Kärkkäinen, it is open source and freely available under AGPL (GNU Affero General Public License v3.0).
