Underground pipelines are awkward to map because they only really manifesst themselves through pipeline markers and other occassional surface inrfrastructure. Consquently many significant pipelines are missing or only partially complete within the UK on OSM. This page aims to a) document significant pipelines whether mapped or not, and b) document the surface features which may aid locating and then mapping pipelines.
