Well for a start off I've always have had an interest in mapping and enjoy exploring.
I use OpenStreetMap data to create custom Garmin routable cycle maps to use on my Etrex Legend HCx. This was a long and arduous process to get something worth using, but now I am a little more confident in what I am doing I will be looking into updating the wiki to help other users with similar needs.
I like to ensure that cycle paths and foot paths are correctly tagged and joined up to enable decent routing functionality, that roads have cycle facilities marked correctly and are joined correctly to paths (and to each other!), and that areas I use are valid, correct and consistent.
