I'm an occasional OSM map user when travelling to new places, particularly if hiking. Currently on a Garmin GPSMap 65s, previously on an eTrex vista cx and GPSMap 62s.
I joined OSM in 2012, wanting to add a few items I'd found missing whilst on holiday, and have (very) slowly dribbled some very low level items (particularly bins and benches) in since then.
In 2026 I went to add a couple more low level items and wandered into a rabbit hole of trying to import the UK trigpoints from the Ordnance Survey data: OS Pillar Trigpoint Import.
