Encarnación, Paraguay / Center's buildings Import, is an import of Plan Encarnación Más. dataset which is of type shapefile. The shapefiles are a result of a mapping work executed during the elaboration process of the Plan. The dataset and license were provided by Ecosistema Urbano to the MapPYOSM team.
MapPYOSM is an initiative framed in a project called 60_Py_14, and it aims to solve the lack of a basic cartography in our country: Paraguay. This situation disables a discussion about urban politics based in facts and evidences.
The import is currently being made and will be corrected by the MapPYOSM's team.
Goals
The mail goal is to import the buildings from the center of Encarnación, Paraguay. The buildings were mapped during the elaboration of the Plan Encarnación Más.

The import has been done on December 2017.

Import Type
This is a one-time import. All the polygons will be uploaded to OSM and then manual checks will be performed at JOSM.

Tagging Plans
On each updated polygon 2 single tags are setted:
- building = yes.
- source = cidi - emas.

Data Merge Workflow
Team Approach
This import is being made by the team from the project MapPYOSM. By mapping in OSM and doing this import job, we aim to solve the lack of a basic cartography in our country: Paraguay.
Workflow
- Import of the shapefiles from Plan Encarnación Más to JOSM by using the plugin "Open Data".
- Upload of the polygons to OSM.
- Selection of all polygons to be tagged.
- Addition of the tags "building = yes" and "source = cidi - emas".
- Upload of the -now- buildings to OSM.
- Correction of the errors in JOSM.
- Upload of the buildings to OSM.
Conflation
None.
QA
The results has been tested with arial imagery. Besides polygons are going to be corrected in JOSM by validation.
