I'm Matthias Merz from Karlsruhe, Germany.
OSM is IMHO very cool stuff.
When I'm out mapping, I use my Garmin GPSMap 60. I bought Garmin Maps for car navigation but I'd be pretty happy to be able to do cycle routing with OSM maps some day in the future -- Okay, "some day" happened to be in the past by now, bicycle routing on Garmin is indeed working ;-)
