... er, hello ....

No really, I am here. I'm a thirty something dad of two in Northumberland. I'm a self confessed geek (see here for my full confession). I'm currently playing with Openstreetmap using the following equipment / software;

Navicore Bluetooth GPS Receiver (This is actually a re-badged Holux GPS Slim 240)

when mobile I use this with my Sony Ericsson K750i phone using Mobile Trail Explorer, this works quite well, and generates gpx files.

I then edit using JOSM on my Compaq Armada M300 running Kubuntu

as I said, I'm based in Northumberland, which seems a bit sparse on openstreet mappians (??) so I'll hopefully add more tracks and mapping for Northumberland between Cramlington and Alnwick.
