This is a bot written in Python, collecting all Template:User_group together (every 6 hours) and generating a KML file to show them on a map: http://usergroups.openstreetmap.de
The hosting is provided by the german community at FOSSGIS: FOSSGIS/Server/Projects/User_groups_map.
The sourcecode is at github.
It has developed by user:!i! using Python and the wikitools lib and a easy homebrew KML parser.
It is maintained by user:Haribo.
ToDo
- Add a second layer with Template:Place (might need passive harvesting)
