Recent (2017-2018) work documenting Divide Trails North America https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/North_American_Divide_Trails and associated long distance hiking trails. This work is not sponsored or authorized by anyone or anything. However I approached the work from the perspective of a hiker with experience on large sections of the trails in New Mexico and Colorado. I brought to the effort to map it here approaches that I felt were important and relevant to hikers. I also approached it with an ease to adding and changing it in the future.
