Hi Dega,

While making some additions in another part of St. Lambert, I noticed that you added several streets plus the AMT train station near the St. Lambert village just two days ago. In fact, I collected some GPS traces in this area last week but then my appartment was broken into and my GPS was stolen (good thing my bicycle was elsewhere!). I was going to go out again tomorrow and rebuild my lost work. My plan was to ride my bike through the streets between Tiffin and Victoria, from Riverside to l'Esperance Park.

I wanted to leave you this note to make you aware; hopefully we will not be working in duplicate.

I live in Montreal but I chose to help map the south shore because there's a lot more that needs to be mapped there, and because I grew up in St. Lambert so I know it very well. --Celada 02:14, 19 May 2008 (UTC)

Hi there,

In case you didn't know, we now have acess to GeoBase data!

We (the talk-ca discusion list) are now looking at ways to use it to our (openstreetmap community) best advantage.

A sample of the kinds of data which is available to us, is shown on the Ibycus Topo garmin map.

You are welcome to join in on this viberant discussion.

My apologies if my previous post(s) were miss understood, updates are often made on the GeoBase Import discussion tab.

Sincerly,

Sam Vekemans

Rencontre informelle

  • Juin 14 2010 - 18h.
