1) I haved a problem with the perl code which is added to Bigmap. I got error like 403 forbiden. But I have save the bigmap as a page and created php script which parsed the source code to get the image names. The php script renames the png files because the second number is mixed.
So what I have is script like
Yet it contains some small bugs. But I generated the map file using perl script:

So can you consider to add some perl code that will do the job? I mean to not to download the files, but join the files saved from my browser.
2) It would be interesting to be able to disable some layers. Esspecially I would like to disable descriptions like place names. And to be possible to watch only selected layer like towns or routes or rivers or forests or lakes. So I could use such bigmap image in editing program and select which layers I want to display. Also possibility to turn of the white background so I could get semitransparent png. That would be very usefull for me.
3) Would there be any way how to download elevation data for hills and mountains. I always have problem to find out if the hill is rising or falling? I just wonder it all contours could have the number of the elevation to make it clear ...
4) Also on the wiki page I have seen somebody sending a photo with ortophoto so my next question is: Is it possible to use something like free ortophotomap for non-commercial purposes?
