RE: OS Locator method

You mention you're not familiar with PHP, and that's why you've gone for the method described on your page. The PHP script is only used to match the road names in OSM with the data from OS. It is not used for anything else, such as creating a GPX file which can be loaded into JOSM natively (without worrying about re-projections). Requirements are:

  • grep command (assume that's in cygwin)
  • gpsbabel
  • A spreadsheet program such as OpenOffice or Excel

Anyway, I'm more than willing to help if you need some advice, otherwise carry on - it'd be interesting to compare the strengths and weaknesses of the two methods! --Tiiiim 13:23, 11 May 2010 (UTC)
