This is a documentation subpage for Vi:Main Page/Map. It contains usage information, categories and other content or metadata that is not part of the original article. |
This template embeds a map onto the very top of Vi:Main Page, right above the masthead.
The map displays a given location and zoom level, specified by a template (see below). To integrate the map more into the portal's design, the map is trimmed to hide the standard OpenLayers controls. (Hiding the attribution line is usually unacceptable, but it just happens that the map's attribution matches this wiki's.)

A different place is shown each day based on Module:CarouselMap/config/Vietnam. The locations can be well-mapped areas, places that have been in the news lately, or simply the world map.
