Tag Description
amenity=music_venue Generic tag for a Music Venue.
name=* Name of venue
capacity=* Number of people it can hold (usually regulated by law).

This is currently not rendered on the Mapnik layer. Feel free to create an icon and file a ticket on the bug report to add it to the stylesheet.

How to Map

Add a node at the center of the venue and add amenity=music_venue to it. You should name it with name=*. You can also add its postal code, address, or telephone number if such information is available. If the whole building is used for this feature and the building outline present in OSM, you can apply the tags on the area if you prefer.
