An office where you can arrange travel tickets, eg train and plane, and hotel and tour bookings.
I propose this instead of the tag shop=travel_agency because you can not remove goods for sale from these premises, rather they sell services which you receive elsewhere.
- Note that shop=* has also been used where money is exchanged for services instead of goods, for example: shop=beauty, shop=laundry, shop=massage, shop=pawnbroker, shop=tattoo, etc. For me shop was associated with giving money for something (be it goods or services), and office was more like for situations where that need not (or even can not) be the case (like office=government, office=ngo, office=company, office=quango, office=employment_agency etc). Although there are few exceptions to that too it seems, like office=lawyer or office=insurance.
This should probably be made more general, to cover for other possibilities which are currently missing; for example selling of ferry tickets, or ski-lift tickets, etc. (especially as those can be quite some distance removed from the place where there are being used). I'm not sure about good name: office=tickets sounds less than ideal, and office=ticket_sale looks like shop=tickets would've been better in the first place. Ideas?
operator=* and description=* or other tags can be used to make it more specific what kind of tickets are being sold.
(note that if the tickets are sold by machine in the first place, we already have amenity=vending_machine)
