A type of accommodation. The term chalet is used in the hospitality industry to describe one or more detached cottages with self-contained cooking facilities and/or bathroom and toilet facilities.

Not to be confused with the swiss term for (private) wood houses, use building=cabin or building=yes instead.

How to map

Set a node Node or draw as an area Area along the building outline. Add tourism=chalet + name=name of location + operator=name of operator. Add building=* when you map a area for a building.

This could apply to Node nodes (single chalet) or Area areas (a group of chalets).
