This key has been introduced to specify the volume of a water reserve in an emergency water tank.

How to use

Add water_tank:volume=* to an existing emergency=water_tank and specify the volume. Default unit for volume is m3 but there are lots of existing entries in l (litres). It is therefore recommended to specify the unit explicitly by adding the appropriate symbol l or m3 to avoid any misunderstanding.

The use of this key is controversial, as there is the much more widely used generic capacity=*, which can also be applied to emergency water tanks. Consider using this generic key instead of water_tank:volume=*.

capacity=* A very generic tag used for various kinds of objects, including all kinds of storage tanks.

water_volume=* a newer but less used key being a duplicate of water_tank:volume=*. Use is not recommended.
