How to map

Draw a way from the tee to the basket and add disc_golf=hole.

Useful combination

• ref=* — the hole number (e.g. "1", "2"). Use ref=*, not name=* — holes do not have names (see Tagging for the renderer).
• par=* — expected number of throws. This is now the established key: as of July 2026, 4,927 holes use par=* versus 530 using the older disc_golf:par=*.
• Hole length: usage is still split — dist=* (455) and disc_golf:length=* (592) are both in use as of July 2026. Whichever you use, give a bare number of meters without a unit suffix.

Legacy keys

• disc_golf:par=* — superseded by par=* in practice (see counts above); fine to read, avoid for new mapping.
