How to map

Add a node where the information board is located, and add tourism=information + information=board.

board_type=* – Describes the main thematic content of an information board.
network=* – Name of the network the information board is part of.
board:title=* or name=* – The title written on the information board. While name=* is currently used much more commonly, it has been argued that this is a misuse of the name tag^[1]^[2], and in 2026 a majority of mappers polled preferred board:title=*.^[3]

name=* in English-speaking countries averages 23-character, with a standard deviation of 11. Longest few at ~100.
