Some vending machines are the size of buildings with no interior. Mapping as an area with amenity=vending_machine + building=yes is discouraged by editors such as iD.
Some ice boxes are not automated with an integrated payment terminal. You must purchase a quanity of bags inside the store and then retrieve the ice bags from the ice box. Tag with self_service=no.
