signed_direction
Description
Specifies that a foot, hiking, bicycle or riding route is signposted, and the signs are only visible from one direction. Show/edit corresponding data item.

signed_direction=* is used on a relation with type=route + route=* to specify that a foot, hiking, bicycle or riding route is signposted and the signs are only visible if you walk or ride in one specific direction. This means the route can be used in both directions, but if you want to be able to see the signs on the ground, you can do that only in one specific direction.

Values can be yes or no. The default value is assumed to be no.

The ways within the relation should be ordered, as they are used to determine the direction of the route.

It's preferred not to use oneway=yes anymore, as it could cause confusion with oneway=* as a legal restriction. See discussion on tagging mailinglist.

See picture above. In this case, the hiking route is marked with a six sided sign. If you would be coming from the other side, there would be no sign or trailmarker visible.
