Language

The word language has multiple meanings and uses, both in OSM directly and on the wiki.

Mapping language attributes

• If you want to add the name=* of a POI in multiple languages, use name:<language code>=*.
• If you want to indicate what languages are spoken at a certain POI, see language:<language code>=*
• school:language=*
• destination:lang:<language code>=*

Language learning tags

• amenity=language_school
• training=language

On the wiki

This wiki can be translated; this is often done by prefixing the language ISO 639.1 code before the page title.
