Projects

Development Seed are a team of engineers and designers working on big projects. Development Seed believe in open source and in building for lasting impact.

Development Seed are mapping elections from Afghanistan to the United States, improving roads and energy access from India to the Philippines, and leading the strategy and development of open data pipelines for NASA, World Bank and UNDP. While their projects can be both big and small — they are always impactful.

The Development Seed Data team equips our global partners with high quality data to make better decisions. DevSeed Data creates data to power more accurate machine learning, improve access to power and services, timely disaster response, and map the undermapped parts of the world.
