EZRouting

EZRouting is a school bus routing platform based in New York.

Using OpenStreetMap Data

EZRouting uses OpenStreetMap for its routing engine to auto generate routes for school districts.

Editing OpenStreetMap data

EZRouting edits roads and streets. Edits made by EZRouting map team are accompanied by the hashtag #EZRouting. As of 2022-06-14 this statement is false (see user history).

Tools and Data Sources

We will use existing OpenStreetMap editing tools.

  • Editor: iD, JOSM, ArcMap
  • Satellite Imagery: Bing, Maxar, Esri
  • Street Level Imagery: Mapillary, Other open sources if available
