May 11, 2022 regular meeting of the OpenStreetMap United States Board of Directors

Call to Order

Minh called the meeting to order at 3:38pm, Eastern Daylight Time, via video conference.

Present:

  • Maggie Cawley (Executive Director)
  • Adam Franco (Treasurer)
  • Diane Fritz (At Large)
  • Minh Nguyễn (President)
  • Brian Sperlongano (Secretary)

Old Business

  • The minutes from April’s board meeting were approved by unanimous consent
  • The board discussed the organization’s membership goals and approved the following statement:
“It is the opinion of the board that a diverse and growing OpenStreetMap US membership is consistent with our mission to grow the OpenStreetMap project in the United States.”

Reports

  • Executive Director (ED) - The ED provided an in-depth report to the Board on the operations of OpenStreetMap US over the prior month.

Adjournment

  • The next board meeting will be held on June 14th at 4:30pm Eastern Daylight Time
