February 21, 2024 regular meeting of the OpenStreetMap United States Board of Directors

Call to Order

Brian called the meeting to order at 3:05pm, Eastern, via video conference.

Present:

• Maggie Cawley (Executive Director)
• Brian Sperlongano (Vice President)
• Adam Franco (Treasurer)
• Matthew Whilden (Secretary)

Reports

• The Executive Director (ED) provided an update to the board on OSM US’s activities over the prior month.
  • Fundraising for SotMUS is on track and meeting goals.
    • Marissa Marshall (fundraising consultant) contract has been extended to 4 months
  • Sandbox work to start next month
  • Maggie is fundraising for Opentrailmap.us project (editor targeted at Trails initiatives)
• Board performance review of ED is in progress

Old Business

• Slack branding - Quincy has begun doing the rollout

New Business

• Maggie thanks Adam and Brian for their service
