If you don't need a key to go out from a building or restricted area, you can mark this with exit=yes. This tagging has sense, if rules for exit are different from rules for entrance.

Most common value is yes. There are also a few exit=emergency.

The key exit=* is mostly used together with entrance=staircase (83%) or entrance=yes (12%), mostly in Belarus (72%) as of June 2022

  • entrance=exit - A troll tag, it is used for exits that are not usable as an entrance, it is a one-way out of a building or enclosed area. You find it at some larger shops, museums or theme parks.
