This tag is used to mark if a place or other object is accessible to people who are visually impaired. This includes the use of Braille, as well as auditory information or signals.

This tag should only be used if there is not a more specific tag for an object. For example, it should not be used on crossing=traffic_signals to indicate an auditory signal for a crosswalk, because traffic_signals:sound=* exists for that purpose.

blind=yes

A blind person can use this place or object without any assistance from another person

blind=limited

A blind person can use some features of this place or object, but may require assistance for other features

blind=no

A blind person will not be able to use features of this place or object.

blind=designated

The place or object is used only for people who are blind.
