Some facilities like camping grounds, hotels, etc. are only usable if you come as a group. For example, some facilities only serve church groups, tour groups, schools, clubs, family groups, conferences, etc., and not individuals coming on their own.
Usage
Add group_only=yes to the facility if it is designed for use by a group of people coming together.
By itself, this tag does not mean the facility is closed to the general public. Use access=private or similar access tags to indicate restrictions on who may use the facility.
