The length of a feature.
Units can be tagged explicitly. Values are interpreted as meters by default. Use distance=* on route relations.
Examples

Alternatively length=2 m could be used. But this is far less common.

Please note the dot as decimal separator! |

Use a typewriter apostrophe character after the feet value and a typewriter double-quote character after the inches value. Spaces are not permitted. |
