Lanna language (also referred to as Kam Mueang, Tai Yuan, or Northern Thai) is spoken by the Lanna people in Northern Thailand and is traditionally written using the Tai Tham script.
As Lanna language is not the official administrative language of Thailand's northern region, it should not be used for the default name tag. Instead, Standard Thai serves as the default, and Lanna translations should be explicitly tagged using the name:nod language code, as following:
