This tag is used to identify the nation responsible for a given test recorded in OSM using military=nuclear_explosion_site. Please use the name as spelled in the title of the English Wikipedia entry for the state in question.

Several additional nations have been alleged to have conducted tests, but the reality of these are uncertain (due to differences of opinion over whether a phenomenon was truly observed, whether said phenomenon was a weapons test, whether said weapon was nuclear, and/or who was responsible) and so are out of scope for OSM until verified.
