MUTCD/11th edition
The 11th edition of the MUTCD made a number of changes that affect traffic sign tagging in OSM.
Redesigned
The following signs have been significantly redesigned. Some have also been renumbered at the same time. Existing occurrences of these codes should be distinguished somehow from the newer uses of these codes – but how?

Added
Approximately 270 sign numbers have been added to the standard, too many to list individually here.
Deleted
The following signs have been deleted from the standard. However, they may be seen in the wild for years to come, depending on the target compliance date set for each sign. Unfortunately, each of these numbers has been repurposed to represent an unrelated sign. How should we distinguish the old meaning of the sign from the new meaning?
