MapRules is an API service and web interface for creating and sharing reusable presets and validation rules. It was added to iD in v2.13.0 (released 13 January 2019).[1] It was discussed at State Of The Map U.S. 2018[2]
Development to add to iD was sponsored by Radiant Solutions,[3] a US based company which is a subsidiary of 
Maxar Technologies, who also owns DigitalGlobe.
