Mechanical Edits/overflorian-mass-edits/deprecate vending=parcel pickup in France

Who

I, overflorian using my dedicated automatic edits account overflorian-mass-edits, Overpass turbo and JOSM.

For any message via OSM I will be notified via email and will reply to you.

Since amenity=vending_machine combined with vending=parcel_pickup;parcel_mail_in has been replaced by amenity=parcel_locker by an approved vote, I propose to semi-automatically apply this switch.

The old tagging system is used in January 2022 over 454 objects in France cf. https://overpass-turbo.eu/s/1fDg

I will use overpass in JOSM to download and change the tags over these objects.

The changeset would be described and tagged with tags that mark it as automatic and provide link to discussion approving edit.

This mechanical edit has been discussed within the French community via mailing-list and in the Telegram France group.

Any comment over this edit can be discussed on the discussion page.

Redoing this edit in the future would be treated as a new mechanical edit without any new approval process under the same conditions.
