Use of Local names in the name tag =
All participants agree on using local names in the local language for Name tag.
Transliteration
Converting Nepali names to English is not straightforward. साँखु could be written as sankhu or shankhu, चितवन as chitwan or chitawan, गोर्खा as gorkha or gorakha. In such cases use the transliterated standard name provided by Survey Department of Nepal and use the same standard for the names which are currently not available from Survey Department.
Monitoring
Verified objects will be put in a relation and the relation will be monitored for changes. An automatic alert system was also proposed.
Other name tags
Other name tags such as nickname, alt_name, local name should also be used so that the search function of softwares can find the features. e.g. New Road should be tagged as name = नयाँ सडक, name:ne = नयाँ सडक, alt_name = Naya Sadak, name:en = New Road
Other Discussions
Arjun volunteered to name all administrative local bodies in their local language. Amrit proposed creating wiki for standardization and future references. Nirab pointed out the prevalence of remote mappings and stressed local-level mapping. Sushma reflected on the effectiveness of group discussions over comments on Facebook. She also highlighted Low female participation in this meeting. It was decided to Actively make these meetings more inclusive. Gaurav shared difficulties in writing in the local language faced in Lalitpur as the local font was not available in unicode. Samrat remarked local people should be able to understand the map for osm to be used and be sustainable. Shashish will split the tasks to be performed till next meeting through the tasking manager, map roulette or other means.

Name all the existing national parks, wildlife reserves and conservation areas in their local languages and also add & name missing national parks and conservation areas if any.

Task division through the Tasking Manager, MapRoulette or other means.
