OSM Live (http://datenkueche.com/osmlive/) is a tool to let you see who is editing where. It runs on the web at:

Over time it builds up a set of yellow and orange blobs.

Technical details

Developed by User:Robotnic

It is written in javascript, as an AJAX Application. Every minute the new Planet.osm/diffs are loaded with XMLHttpObject.
