OpenCollabMap is an mapping ecosystem base on OSM modeling framework (nodes, ways, relations), implementing main API v0.6, with additionnal features:

  • Branching (Git-like) capabilities
  • Business data-model optional enforcement
  • Integrated queries
    • Tag-based
    • Time-based
  • Plugins

The server and a lot of its capabilities come from PostgreSQL and its PostGIS extension.

Genesis of the Project

It project was initiated in 2025 by French Tax Administration for the Cadastre (French Land Registry), and it is the core for the upcoming PCI-NG (Plan Cadastral Informatisé Nouvelle Génération).

Publication of a first open-source release will come as soon as possible.
