Buskerudbyen local authority editing activities
Scope
Buskerudbyen has been an OSM user for a while and uses it extensively for many planning and mapping purposes, especially for bicycle related needs.
For the urban growth programme (byvekstavtale) we want to explore using OSM to help us with the planning process by adding tags to existing road infrastructure. We will be using the tag buskerudbyen:cycleway=*.
These tags allow us to make detailed reports and calculations and refer back to our internal planning and monitoring tools.

Hashtag
For our first mapping campaign we will be using the hashtag #byvekstavtale which reflects its use in the planning process.
Main activities overview
Our main activities are mapping out the existing bicycle infrastructure and adding tags in the buskerudbyen:cycleway namespace that help out cross-reference OSM data with our internal planning tools.
