Ozon Geoservices is a department of Ozon company that provides map services.

Editing goals and geographies

Ozon uses OSM data in its geoservices and is interested in full and reliable addresses. We are trying to enrich buildings and addresses data in Russia mainly.

Hashtag

All our contributors marked their edits with a comment: "Задание Профит" till the end of July 2024.

Since July 2024 they tag it with a hashtag #OzonGeo.

Editing process

Generally we use local knowledge as a source of information:

1. Business owner's information about pickup points: lat/lon + official address (based on official documents) + custom inside/outside video + custom photos
2. Buyer's information + courier's verification: in case if customer can't get an address using OSM data he can point the coordinates and fill up his address by his own. As soon a deliveryman confirms the delivery to this customer twice we are to update this data.

In some case we use legal sources like RU:Россия#Источники данных
