TeleClinic is an app that allows you to have a video call with a doctor as well as receiving medications.

Use of OpenStreetMap and editing goals

We want to provide information about local pharmacies to our customers. Therefore, we are interested in keeping pharmacy information in our application up-to-date. Since we are only operating in Germany, our editing scope is also limited to pharmacies in Germany.

In particular, we will do the following types of editing:

• Marking a pharmacy as closed
• Renaming pharmacies

Our employees should use the hashtag #teleclinic

Data Sources

• Our customers reporting errors to us (e.g. about non-existing pharmacies)
• Pharmacies contacting us (e.g. informing us they have been renamed or moved)
• Us actively calling pharmacies for checking information
• Pharmacy websites

Editing guidelines

This section documents how specific editing actions should be performed.

In general: For all changesets, use the hashtag #teleclinic.

Marking a pharmacy as closed

• Change amenity=pharmacy to disused:amenity=pharmacy
  • If it exists: Change healthcare=pharmacy to disused:healthcare=pharmacy
• Change name=Beispielapotheke to old_name=Beispielapotheke
• Remove obsolete fields, for example:
  • contact, dispensing, opening_hours, website
• In the changeset:
  • source=one of our clients if the information is from a customer, along with a descriptive changeset comment ("Nach Hinweis eines TeleClinic Nutzers geändert")
  • source=shop owner if the information is from the pharmacy owner, along with a descriptive changeset comment ("Auf Wunsch der Apotheke geändert")
  • source=https://apotheke.example.com/ if the information is from the website of the pharmacy
  • hashtags=#teleclinic

Renaming a pharmacy

• Change name=Alte Apotheke to name=Neue Apotheke
• In the changeset:
  • source=one of our clients if the information is from a customer, along with a descriptive changeset comment ("Name nach Hinweis eines TeleClinic Nutzers geändert")
  • source=shop owner if the information is from the pharmacy owner, along with a descriptive changeset comment ("Name auf Wunsch der Apotheke geändert")
  • source=https://apotheke.example.com/ if the information is from the website of the pharmacy
  • hashtags=#teleclinic
