Oslo's Agency of City Environment has interest in improving mapping of bike infrastructure within its borough, and has therefore employed two students to aid in this effort.

Scope

The project started the spring of 2020 focusing mainly on capturing street level 360 photography of bike lanes and trails within Oslo. We have captured more than 2 thousand kilometers of bike infrastructure and uploaded 360 photos to Mapillary. The project will continue throughout 2021 with no end date set.

Tools and Data Sources

We are using OSM tags to categorize our bike infrastructure according to the Oslo Standard.
