Further work and the term “Semi Rough”

I will try to add alot more information on this and contribute back into the English Wikipedia to properly define this term and the Wikimedia graphics to sway non-golfers. I’m also going to provide some pictures. Wouldn’t it be wonderful if a golf holes features could be properly mapped so a player could look up the course and play by open data (course guides sometimes cost money to print and proprietary golf apps to get it digital needs subscriptions which cost money.)

In some parts of the world we call it the “semi rough”. Could be interesting to research what should be used internationally.

There could maybe be a discrepancy between the USGA(US) & R&A(sets the rules in the rest of the world) I have not found if these two entities have properly defined this? It could be because it is not important to define a grass type when writing rules?

I think implementing this tag, as the author of the proposal wrote, would be a good thing that we could define the entire teebox and green, to aid in driving with the cart or bag too!
