deprecate

Hi, will you also deprecate the stop_on_demand role? I think there's no reason to have both, right? --Kylenz 00:02, 30 September 2025 (UTC)

It seems like stop_on_demand is only used 916 times, and platform_on_demand is only used 50 times --Kylenz 10:36, 30 September 2025 (UTC)

Why would your proposal be better than <stop_on_demand>? If it will just replace a currently underused role, maybe promote that role, don't invent a new one. Given the history it is likely that the current role will keep in existence. If you have a good reason to (effectively) change the name, deprecate the current role name, if I seem to not understand the difference, please explain in the proposal.
