San Juan, Puerto Rico Mapping Parties

Mapping Parties are a great way to meet up with fellow mappers, drink some beer and do a lot of mapping.

First Mapping Party

The first San Juan Mapping Event was held on February 9th, 2014. Although the turnout was small, we covered a lot of ground in Old San Juan. Nearly half of the city is now completely mapped with up-to-date roads and building geometries and attributes. After morning meetup, the team ventured out to designated areas, collected data with an assortment of Field Papers and notes. Then the bar, beer, and editing and the map is starting to look great:
