A pneumatic cylinder is a linear mechanical actuator designed to deliver unidirectional force to a moving part of a system. It runs with a gazeous fluid like dry air instead of hydraulic cylinders (actuator=hydraulic_cylinder) which make use of liquid fluids like oil.

This key was initially proposed to describe pipeline=valve but it is suitable for movable road bollards, automatic doors or any moving system also.
